About Us

We are a mobile/ house-call dental service. We cater to assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residencies where patients may have a difficult time traveling to seek traditional dental care.  Our mission is to treat every patient like family, and provide access to comprehensive dental care to patients that are homebound due to illness or various medical conditions.

Home Visit Dentistry was founded by Thomas Maher DMD, a native Staten Islander. Dr. Maher has been providing Home Visit Dentistry since 2020. Dr. Maher started Home Visit Dentistry when a family member became ill and was not able to seek traditional dental care. Dr. Maher saw the difficulty that his loved-one faced while home bound. Receiving professional dental care was a true challenge!

While in private practice, Dr. Maher treated his loved one, and also other patients that faced a similar situation. Dr. Maher understood that there is a tremendous need for these patients that otherwise wouldn’t be able to receive dental care. From that point, Home Visit Dentistry was formed!

Today, Home Visit Dentistry has a team of dental professionals dedicated to treating homebound patients via house call and mobile dentistry!

Many of our patients wear dentures. We offer all services denture related. From fabrication to repair of existing dentures!
